Any clues on exactly what you've done from an internal damping perspective? I've got a pair of these drivers on the way and I'm interested in frankensteining them together.

stratocaster, what method/material are you using for internal damping on these? Is it the same that you describe here http://www.changstar.com/index.php/topic,508.msg9707.html#msg9707 ?

At the moment the back of the driver is damped with a ring of coffee filter/damping paper  (to cover the vents around the magnets) + 5mm cotton ring + disc of 1.5cm open-cell foam to press the damping against the driver.
