Well, I had these on order from Amazon to review but they cancelled the order after a week due to lack of availability. Oh well, maybe next time.

Resurrecting this thread as opposed to making a new one because there's already some discussion here. I reviewed them on Head-Fi, but the short of it is that I think they're good for closed portable headphones at the $200 range. I would take them over the PM3 in terms of overall enjoyment and driver quickness, but they have an upper mid peak that gets grating some times. I would prefer some IEMs at this price range, but they're not without their flaws either, not the ones I've heard.

Right out of the box, they are like "vice of death". Got a headache from the clamp force  :spank: I have a big head, so it could just be my unique issue  :-Z

Pretty easy to run them, be it direct through my iphone 5,6, ipad3 or sound blaster x7. No issues with problem. Just the annoying brightness, and dry sound especially when running out of SB X7 amp/dac.
Out of my Ygg/Liquid Crimson with telefunken (thx marv for the recommendation),  it's  headbang  headbang for me but that's a lot of jump in setup cost, which is something I wouldn't do to just power a $200 USD headphone.

As with all setup, you are hearing the same song, same singer(s) but it changes from annoying to enjoyable in this case for me.

Build quality wise, I find it of great value. Not much of plastic used in the construction and the metallic red version i have, has this quality look to it.
