Unfortunatey there are no measurements here, but i did find them on digitalversus http://www.digitalversus.com/headphones/audio-technica-msr-7-p22041/test.html (http://www.digitalversus.com/headphones/audio-technica-msr-7-p22041/test.html)
FR graph here looks kinda funky - anyone have experience with this headphone?

There are measurements over are GoldenEars (http://ko.goldenears.net/board/index.php?mid=GR_Headphones&document_srl=5398387), they seem to correlate with people's impressions.

I ended up buying a used pair from a dude on head-fi for $230USD including shipping/fees to Canada. Will post subjective impressions when I can. Hopefully theyll be a step or 2 above my old closed NVX Audio PT100.

I tried them yesterday and thought they sounded awful. It's like they took the M50x and chopped off the low end, leaving you with just the uneven, metallic sounding mids and treble.

Goddammit - theyre on route for delivery as i type this. I guess ill keep them and resell them for the PM3 in a few months.

Don't give up hope yet! I should have mentioned that I tend to dislike the way AT's sound anyway, so YMMV.

Tylls review here http://www.innerfidelity.com/content/incisive-audio-technica-ath-msr7
I'm going to grab a pair for sure.

They're pretty nice sounding, and I think isolation and build quality seems decent. But they clamp pretty tight.
-
I really want to test them... but they are so similar looking to the Sony MDR-1R/1A is stunning!!!
-
I went back and gave these another try today. Having spent more time with them, I think I judged them rather unfairly in my previous comment.
The treble is smoother/less sibilant than the M50x and the bass is more neutral. I still find them a overly bright for my tastes but they don't deserve to be called awful, like I said before.

Well, I had these on order from Amazon to review but they cancelled the order after a week due to lack of availability. Oh well, maybe next time.

Resurrecting this thread as opposed to making a new one because there's already some discussion here. I reviewed them on Head-Fi (http://www.head-fi.org/t/781335/review-audio-technica-msr7-a-beautiful-portable-full-sized-headphone), but the short of it is that I think they're good for closed portable headphones at the $200 range. I would take them over the PM3 in terms of overall enjoyment and driver quickness, but they have an upper mid peak that gets grating some times. I would prefer some IEMs at this price range, but they're not without their flaws either, not the ones I've heard.

Right out of the box, they are like "vice of death". Got a headache from the clamp force :spank: I have a big head, so it could just be my unique issue :-Z
Pretty easy to run them, be it direct through my iphone 5,6, ipad3 or sound blaster x7. No issues with problem. Just the annoying brightness, and dry sound especially when running out of SB X7 amp/dac.
Out of my Ygg/Liquid Crimson with telefunken (thx marv for the recommendation), it's headbang headbang for me but that's a lot of jump in setup cost, which is something I wouldn't do to just power a $200 USD headphone.
As with all setup, you are hearing the same song, same singer(s) but it changes from annoying to enjoyable in this case for me.
Build quality wise, I find it of great value. Not much of plastic used in the construction and the metallic red version i have, has this quality look to it.

These and something like Go V2 could be good portable/office rig.
