i'm wondering if anyone saw any good movies lately or played any good games maybe?

i barely watch movies but, i'm mostly just a horror/paranormal/psychological type guy and i saw just about all known good horror/paranormal movies,even watched a few asian horror movies and only like a few personally. must just be, because my imagination just gets the best of me and i tend to have too high of expectations for things.i even thought The Shining was just ''ok''.

i actually gotten more satisfaction from some games and anime when it comes to psychological,abstract and horror. gave me more use of my imagination and kept my interest more to allow me to think and philosophize on the possible outcome of the story but i barely even play much games as i use to(i do pc gaming once in while now though still since that' what i built my rig around). i barely watch any anime either but i saw a few really good psychological and abstract ones that caught my attention past year or so. i'm mostly into the soundtracks than the shows and movies.

i like some military and old kung-fu flicks as well besides other things too. i'm pretty diverse on movie and game interest as much as my music. depends on time of day and what i'm in the mood for but, i usually tend to favor more abstract things nowadays though. i would list the stuff i saw but i'm not good with remembering names so i don't exactly remember all their titles. i would have to look them up cause i tend to be better at remembering pictures and seeing it(i usually tend to think in pictures so i recognize things better when i see them).

John Carter....quite enjoyed it!

Good games:

Been playing MW3 when I have time. Still play a lot of Day of Defeat: Source.

i'm actually interesting in seeing that. usually i get distracted though and i end up forgetting and thinking of something else. i do want to see that movie though. looks good.

i have that game just sitting on a desk downstairs. i gotten it when it came out but never really bothered much with it yet. i actually loaned it out to my friend across the street couple days ago. too much work to install it lol. i did like the 1st and second one though. last game i played was Alice:Madness returns since i find amercian mcgee's vision of alice fascinating and it was great game. also recently loved Alan Wake.

have Amnesia installed as well waiting to be played but i never find the time yet cause i want to play it late at night to get the full experience.

I really enjoyed John Carter...they didn't promote it right...much like Hugo (which I also enjoyed immensely).

As for video games...install MW3. Then we can team up and fight together.

Saw two movies over the weekend.

We Bought a Zoo -- This movie sucked. Script was heavy-handed, very awkward pacing at some points, very shallow characters. I expected it to be better.

Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol -- Quite enjoyed it for what it was -- an entertaining action flick. Other than a few minor quibbles, overall a fun movie.

aww yea. will do and i let you know. also can play on the 360 copy as well since my brother has a copy i can borrow from if rather play on that(i have all current gen systems and pc but if i buy or play anything at all it's always on pc).

i want to see hugo myself as well. friend try to tell me it was dumb but i can't trust his words since he's obviously specially challenged ditz.

not really mission impossible fan really since i get bored too easily with them and end up distracted trying to entertain myself for the next hour or so.

i was kinda curious with we bought a zoo in a way since tend to like animals especially big cats but knowing me i porbably never bother since it has matt damon in it cause seriously i can't watch any movie with him in after i saw Team America. everytime i hear matt damon i think of team america lol.

French movie named "Tomboy" excellent show, hard to watch at some points it is so direct. Makes you think. The lead actress is totally amazing in her portrayal.

As for games, I swore off gaming a few months ago. Had been growing less and less interested in the pointless grinds so I decided to stop gaming forever. Still getting temptation to play again and have been checking out some of my old haunts online lately, but so far still keeping out. My problem is this audio hobby doesn't keep me busy enough to not think about gaming. My life is very simple so I have a lot of free time and I have a hard time picking up new hobbies and such.

Saw John Carter with my son (10). We both enjoyed it.

Took my son and daughter (12) to see Hunger Games. They liked it. I was underwhelmed. The lead actress was very good, but the plot overall was weak. It's a fairly predictable story. I have not read the books, and based on what I saw in the movie, likely will not. The movie is certainly not worth the hype.

i watched the soloist couple nights ago finally after being so lazy everytime i came home or off days where i got distracted with other things.

it was pretty good but not as good as i expected. i mainly wanted to watch it cause i like the cello and that's one instrument in my life never got chance to try. i did like the music in it though and captured the instruments very naturally which is very pleasing to hear.
