I love me some Aronofsky. I feel like he's gotten better as he's gone along too. The Wrestler and Black Swan are my favorites of his.

I'm glad Black Swan did well commercially and critically. I know a few people that dived into his older works after seeing it. Requiem For a Dream (unedited or unrated) was the first film I saw of his, and up until that point was probably the most depressing thing I'd seen in a movie.

Rex I look forward to your report on Primer

gonna watch it tonight defiantly! couldn't last time last night cause me being dumb and not paying attention, i ran over my 4-pin xlr cable that i use for hooking my headphones up to my power amps, so i had to re-solder one of the wires and afterwards cause i was so annoyed of how dumb i was i couldn't focus when i was watching it. gotten 5 minutes in and decided to stop and watch it later on when i'm bit more calm and being less stupid on my part lol.

tonight though defiantly gonna watch it in a bit and i'll let you know what i think. i avoided being dumb today lol.

Pal Joey (1957)

This one's basically a treat for Sinatra fans.
Sinatra sings 'There's A Small Hotel', 'I Didn't Know What Time It Was', and 'The Lady is a Tramp'.
Add to that 'the funny valentine' & 'Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered' from the female leads.
Great stuff!

I have yet to see that.

My favorite star studded musical is High Society. Highly recommend that one!

Every DC animated movie was highly enjoyable, I could talk for hours about the DC universe.

I'm looking for a good horror flick. Any suggestions?

Got a chance to catch this one.
Had no idea what the movie was about, so I was rather surprised to see that it is actually a 'musical' remake of one of my favourite movies - The Philadelphia Story. Its hard to top a cast of Cary Grant, Jimmie Stewart & Catherine Hepburne acting wise but then no one croons like Sinatra & Crosby do & Grace Kelly is pretty as always.
Enjoyed it immensely, thanks for the recommndation Luis.

Recommend if you like to get mind fucked: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0390384/

One of the stand out films for me this last decade.
I've seen Primer a few times.  The mindfuckery just wasn't there for me to the degree that Aronofsky films achieved.

Enjoyed it though.  Will watch again, when I return to my slow-paced movies phase.
