What's the sensitivity like?  A moderately sensitive closed back with LFF's personal touch sounds like an ideal headphone for me right now.

@Tari - Don't have solid number to give, but a quick quote from an email from Luis:

"They are rather efficient. They sound really good out of an iPod touch 3g. One of the beta testers was blown away at how it sounded with his touch playing apple lossless with NO amp.

I currently have them connected to my Cavalli CTH. However, I'd probably recommend a Vali for them if you wanted to amp them."

I think it is safe to assume the sens is relatively high and these are easy to drive (although scales more than likely).

Awesome. Emailed Luis, will be ordering one.

Purrin, will you and your OBs be at the March SoCal meet? I'm dying to hear them at this point  :-DD

That's a headphone meet I have no control over. Come over to my place soon, or in a month when I expect to finally get my 445 amp. The OB sounded pretty good with the Mjolnir. It sounded sublime with the 2A3mk4.

I'm also working a a semi-private mini/micro meet in OC.

Other meet highlights:
  • A vendor was telling purrin and I about how all the HF members think Changstar is a terrible place and we hate HF. I couldn't help but reply with "Would we drop $2500 to run this meet if we hated HF?"
  • El fucking Metate. Yes, Marv, we have real Mexican food in Northern California, too.

That's just sad that someone may have said to a vendor: "oh no, you don't want to be with them (changstar)" considering that it has been us (with the exception of Ethan/Warren for the last summer 2013 and upcoming spring 2014) who have been organizing these meets in CA for the past several years.

I have suspicions of who such people are, but I'm not going to play this game by badmouthing the reputation or deleting references to posts of any other site or forum.

Doh, I forgot about El Metate there. I used to go there often when I was in that neighborhood. Definitely legit and I loved that cow head taco.

ZD said he forgot to ask if they were cow (head) cheeks or cow (butt) cheeks. Probably better off not knowing the answer!

For butchers, cheeks are from the face, butt means shoulder.

Well, we asked you, and you didn't want to abandon your family for a few days like how I did.
