Thought I'd make a thread for all the gamer pirates out there. Feel free to discuss whatever you like in the world of gaming: upcoming releases, what you're currently playing, good independent games, etc.
My two most anticipated games for 2013 so far are Dead Space 3 and BioShock Infinite.
This year, I'm looking forward to the Omega DLC for Mass Effect 3. I was very disappointed with ME3 as a whole, but the DLC has been making it better, and this one in particular is one I've been looking forward to for a while. Also can't wait to see the Collectors return in the single player campaign.
I've got Dishonored, but haven't played it yet. Looks pretty cool tho.

I just finished Dishonored. I thought it was an amazing game. I was surprised by how much it reminded me of Metal Gear Solid (in a good way), but it also pulls a lot from Bioshock and Assassin's Creed.
What does everyone play on, primarily? Anyone into building gaming rigs? Crazy home theater setups?

Isn't TORtanic going F2P?
I'm an MORPG fan so currently waiting on Path of Exile's open beta. Currently the only game being played a little bit every day is Minecraft.

Sorry... I only like games from early ATARI to Odyssey(Magnavox) to Famicom to PC Engine(Turbografx16 in the US) and didn't play much starting from the snes times and up. I did play a lot of FPS like Half Life and Quake 3 Arena though when I got high smoking crystal meth LOL

I play primarily on PC and do love building rigs. I've been meaning to check out dishonored and sleeping dogs for awhile, also want my GTA V, now.
Anyone looking for a quite soothing experience should check out dear esther, it's a unique thing, not really a game though
I play Cs:GO regularly.

What a coincidence, I was just thinking I should get a few games for the winter. It's been a while since I dug into a game -- last game I beat was Uncharted 3.
Target has a buy 2, get 1 free deal which lasts until today. Any recommendations on games?
I'm getting NBA 2K13 for sure. Was thinking maybe Assassin's Creed 3, Borderlands 2 or Max Payne 3 as well. Anything else I should put on the radar?

I used to be big on Diablo (I & II). Defeated Baal in Hell mode with a Necromancer. Those days are gone
(...temporarily) I'm doing a little Xbox 360 Kinect ( Kinect StarWars is on its way
)
Also was big on Gears of War

I have been hoping Red Dead Redemption would come out on PC. That is the game that has kept me most entertained. That game with wacky mods would be a lot of fun.
Demons Souls on PS3 is another favorite for this generation. I need to pick up the second one.
I got back into TF2 a few weeks ago. The Halloween update was ok. Mostly a time waster to try and collect the drops though
Any good gaming blogs to follow? I used to read Kotaku then their main page got too bloated.
