Shitty ergonomics aside this IEM is quite nice for 100$. Would I recommend it? Well, no- I find the midrange to be recessed and sometimes- plain strange. Also this IEM is pretty sensitive to output impedance. I have a few headphone-outs from which I get very uncontrolled bass.

I wonder how it compares to the Vsonic GR07. I bet it's more coherent.

Hmm... I might try experimenting with the EQ, otherwise most likely I'll sell them in some not too distant future. My eyes are set on SM3 v2.

Insidious Meme lent me these among others for a listen/measurement. Thanks mang! . I was very curious about these given that at some point they were relatively given a high discount and well regarded. What put me off in the past were the reports about being a bit difficult to fit for some.

Sound

IM had these with triple flanges. For some reason I could not get seal with those tips at all. So I used my SHE3590 (with some difficulty). With the Philips tips I feel these are somewhat warm sounding, and a bit rolled off on both extremes, but the bass still manages good impact. More so IMO than what I heard from the Noble 4s, but less than some of the dynamic driver IEMs I have around. They seem pretty laid back. I can't say I like them a lot, but they are not a full assault on my senses.

Note that different tips are more than likely going to yield a different sound signature.

Comfort

Horrible (for me). I had a hard time getting these to fit me, and even when I got seal it wasn't that comfy. Maybe the nozzle is on the large side of things.

Presentation

I like the blue and black presentation. Pretty elegant.

Price

I think they are going for ~$300 (Amazon)... I wouldn't call it a bargain in the general sense, but 3 armature drivers + crossover are proly not cheap either. I wouldn't buy them at any price given personal comfort issues with them.

Impedance

Is it just me or my DAC/amp, music or something, or does the midrange of the TF10 sound a bit fuzzy?

If your DAC/amp has high output impedance, it's your source.  The TF10 crossover network was known to be perhaps the most susceptible to OI mucking up the FR for it's time.  It was actually a reference IEM for measurements of OI impact.

If that's not it, you need to be more specific like mid bass bleed, poor imaging or what's going on?  i never found it to have that issue in such a way that's different from any other similarly tuned IEM.  Of course there's always the infamous fit and tips issue with the TF10 that could cause issues.
