Sincerely , it's THE event we european should be there.. I'm ashamed to have not think to plan that before.

I'm not an Essen local, but "The Rü" (Rüttenscheider Straße) has about 100 bars and restaurants, from coffeeshops to upscale burger joints. And it's close to CanJam Europe's location. Here's a nice article about The Rü. It's in German, but Google Translate ought to work.

Also, last year, a few people met at Grugapark Biergarten on Friday before CJE started.

Guess who's not coming to CJE this year, goddessdamnitsomuch! Urgent and rather sudden family business is keeping me in Berlin while Juliane's already on the Autobahn westbound.

I second the motion for extensive picture reports. Have fun, everybody who's attending. See ya at CJE16 then.

I'll of course be doing a full Canjam report as usual. Too bad we won't get to have fun this year but family goes first.
