Ah, KEF nearfields.  Might have to stop by to check on that.  I just didn't want to get sucked into their KEF Blade/Parasound demo again.


Didn't see Cavalli/Abyss on the list.  Maybe they'll appear at a table in the headphonium.  My understanding is the vendor space sold out pretty quick.  I'll shoot Alex a query.

KEF has two rooms, so I'm hopeful that there will be a 300X that you can actually hear in a room away from the Blade-based system.  We'll know soon enough.

According to Mike on Head-Fi, the Audio Note guys pulled out.

I'm glad I checked this before I left. I'll try to check out as much of these as I can. I have a feeling that I'll be coming back for more on Saturday though... :)p1

And that was one of the main vendors I wanted to hear.  I was sort of on the fence about my perceptions of them.  Hmm.....

Alex didn't have a table to my knowledge. If Abyss is there , they will have the Liquid Gold though as this has been their reference for the headphone..dB

You may want to consider some more traditional NFMs as well. A passive pre can take care of the volume control problem.
