It's been like that for a while now. People donate to tkam to help pay for the server

Yeah, that sort of thing isn't uncommon. I imagine they don't have the revenue of head-fi, so they rely on donations to pay for servers and associated costs.

Yeah there has been a donate link up since 2008. There's no ad revenue or anything, we decided not to have them.

The "now accepting donations" wording must be the default from the IPBoard plugin. (that can be collapsed by pressing the X)

Oh... I guess I wasn't paying attention. Now that I look more carefully, I'm surprised they aren't at least running Google ads.

I know Rin has been taking donations to get an LCD2/3 for almost two years now? I think he is up to $125. Another 20 years ought to do it.
