LOL. He's the guy from BestHeadphonesGuide. They didn't want to publish any reviews without measurements. Probably why they've had no updates for a while.

how about sending him a 940 instead?!  Or something that hasn't been measured.  I'd love to see the 940 wind up with the same exact ridges as the 840....  mua haha
