"of course my set-up is foobar2000 ASIO 64-bit>Echo audiofire 2>H/K 725 preamp > H/K 770 dual-mono power amp > SRD-4 >Musical Pink Panthers(stax lambda pro)."...

OF COURSE!   ;)

How are things holding up when you push the gain hard?  Are things staying in control or getting a little wooly and wild?  Says lots-o-STAX guys, the crappy amps will loose control when pushed, so interested to hear how the energizer holds out.

BTW, nice job dBel!

Very interesting stuff, thanks for sharing.

they actually hold up very well on very high gain when i push the volume on my preamp. i don't push them too hard though all the time cause the low-bass on some tracks can cause the frame to rattle but no distortion whatsoever(also afraid of killing them). As well, i  don't listen at high volumes much but if i wanted to push these i can easily. the box is holding up very well.
