Dogfish Head makes some interesting beers.  I tried the 90 minute IPA and boy is that stuff strong!  Unfortunately I can't get it in Canada so I usually just stick with the local craft brewers.  There are so many cool looking beers out there now, I love how the craft brewing scene has really exploded in the last 5 years.  Every time I go to the liquor store I find newer and weirder things to try out.

Yeah 90 Minute is a good DIPA. Canada has a beer called "Megadestroyer Imperial Licorice Stout" I want to try soo bad. You should look for it and tell me how it is

Unfortunately I am on the other side of the country from where it is produced so I am not sure if I will be able to find it locally (and definitely not until the fall/winter).  It looks like Howe Sound has lots of interesting beers though, I will keep my eyes open for their stuff.

These are the two I've been obsessing on lately.

Now that summer is coming I need to find a nice wheat beer.  Its funny how the change in weather totally changes your tastes.  I don't remember what it was called, but I tried some Sierra Nevada seasonal wheat beer that was really tasty.  It was refreshing but still had a very pronounced spicy flavor.

Last night I had some Flying Monkeys Brewery The Matador.  Its a special anniversary IPA that has been aged on spanish cedar.  It had such a strong cedar flavor.  It kind of tasted like drinking a beer out of my humidor.  I give any beer bonus points if I have never tasted anything like it before!

I think my favorite Dogfish Head is the Noble Rot. Though I also like the 120 minute IPA, World Wide Stout, and Raison D'Etre. The latter you can get in six-packs around here so it's a session staple. Actually, I'm not too far away from the brewery period, which is probably why it tends to be pretty commonplace around here.

If you can find it, the ApriHop is another nice IPA from them that's quite balanced, a great summer beer.

If you can find Tripel Karmeliet in brown bottles rather than green ones, there's your ideal summer beer. Unless you're one of those weirdos that thinks Stone Ruination is ideal summer beer. Mmmm... Stone... Ruination... excuse me, I need to wipe my chin.

DFH is my favorite brewery. The Brew Pub is something worth taking a trip to with friends. Noble Rot really is something special. 90 Minute is my go to, a sort of standard of beer excellence. Raison D'Etre was my favorite for quite some time, another standard of excellence. Sah'Tea is my favorite of the 'ancient ales', very solid. Although, the DFH king for me is Burton Baton.

As far as stouts go, I don't think I've found anything to beat Evil Twin Imperial Biscotti Break yet. The ones I've tried from Founders are very good though (Imperial and Breakfast).

Belgians and Belgian-inspired are a whole nother world. I've developed a thing for Saison/Farmhouse ales.

90 minute IPA is interesting- malty.  Got to City Beer in SF too late to have the 120 minute IPA (on my list to try).  Noble Rot sounds interesting- Botrytis instead of a Bret infusion (a la BRUX)??

Tripel Karmeliet off tap is one of my absolute favorites   :)p5

I could rape the board with pictures of $100 worth of beer if anyone wants to see for possible beers to try
