I don't know about these fancy graphs, but I like to measure headphones with the most important instruments: my ears! My objective test for headphones is to put them on, close my eyes and see how well they transport me to the front row of a Nirvana concert. With a truly great headphone, I feel Dave Grohl's energy, taste Krist Novoselic's sweat dripping off the stage and smell Kurt Cobain's nuts from the front row.

How do Kurt Cobain's nuts smell on the Coby's?

I've never heard them, but based on the FR alone, I can say that his nuts must be moderately toasty and have a salty but sweet scent of vodka and B.O.

As a lawyer, I must warn you that forcing another person to wear these, or inducing another person to wear these by trickery or deceit, would almost certainly subject you to liability under Common Article Three of the Geneva Conventions, the Convention Against Torture, and other applicable laws in your country of residence.

In addition, it is possible that forcing another person to wear these, or inducing another person to wear these by trickery or deceit, may constitute a mortal sin under canon law, and subject you to eternal damnation.

You've been warned.

Dick Cheney LOVES the Coby CVH47 and may have his own branded version soon (saw it in Wikileaks).

I just couldn't resist! Pulled the trigger on this "B" revision! My poor wallet. ;_____;

Update:

At first they sounded not-so-good out of the box. The treble was a little harsh and bass was boomy. I thought I made a huge mistake!!!

I let them burn in for 400 hours in my panty drawer playing Jazz At The Sweatshop. Now that's more like it! Really liking these! They sound super airy and detailed and neutral and perfectly flat but also warm and bassy and very musical. They sound perfect with the Leben!!!

Also I should say I'm a professional hurdy gurdy player, and no other headphones have made the hurdy gurdy sound as natural as these! Hats off to Coby!

Now I just have to hide these from the missus. I already splurged on a $5 Coby MP3 player that clashes with our draperies, so when she sees these she's going to rip out my uterus and fry it over open coals while humming the soundtrack to Rosemarry's Baby.

I mostly talk about music there. Weird.

I always check out this website before buying headphones - http://bestheadphones-review.com/. I like the new Soul by Ludacris. I find they look cooler than the Beats or anything like that, and apparently they sound good too. Has anyone tried these?

Aww bro, that's terrible.  Take a cue from everyone here - when she asks you how much it costs, lie.  If she asks you if its new, tell her you've had it for months now and she's only noticing it now because she doesn't take an interest in your hobbies.  When she finds the receipt and asks you how much you're really spending, reply "no more than you're spending on treatment for your debilitating illnesses and marriage counseling."

Glad you're liking the newer version.  For those who still can't appreciate it, try listening to it simultaneously at two separate points in time.
