I have to agree, the Millet amps I've heard so far haven't really moved me at all.  No real sins of commission though.  Just nothing that makes me want to open a wallet.  Maybe the Glacier will change that if I like it better than the Pinnacle.   :-00

It's just a TTVJ Slim with a better dac...  I do like Todd a lot though and think highly of Pete.

Have you guys heard the Millet Starving Student?  I should send mine down sometime if not, if you're interested that is.

Awesome LFF!  Nice one.

Sachu how do you think it compares to the SOHA1 and SOHAII?

I prefer the CTH over the SOHA1 and SOHA2. Something romantic about the design..the essence of which had been magnified in the stacker hybrid amps and is now perfected in the Liquid Glass.

The MIllet Starving student is a NICE amp indeed. I liked it a lot. Just wasn't the most reliable or trust worthy when plugging in high end headphones.

I'm always up for hearing new stuff.

If it's just a TTVJ Slim then it won't move me much from what I have.

My MHSS sounds a little uneven and colored to me.  Actually I remember thinking that my ipod was more linear sounding even if the starving student had bigger soundstage, dynamics, detail, etc.  This was a while ago and is jsut the one I've heard.  It's a cool build, Fallenangel made it in a modem case.

So is there a price established or do you want to keep that to email?

I have a lot of respect for Millett's (two Ts; one T = grain) work. The 307A is a killer amp, and I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I ever found someone with a minty one willing to part with it for a price that isn't retarded.

Also have a lot of respect for Cavalli. These kits look gorgeous, but I don't think I quite have the level of DIY proficiency yet to build one, unfortunately. Would make a really fun project.
