The apex opamps that sound good for electrostatic use are
brutally expensive. Also they are very static sensitive and
blow up easy if you don't know what you are doing.

And here I was hoping for something I could make without worrying over the fate of near-unobtanium transistors.

I'll have to take a look at that new one though.

On second thought, I guess not.  I was just assuming it would be a 'stat amp...

except for p-channel input fets, new transistors have been released that
replace everything i have been using in the past. New suitable transistors
for electrostatic use should be released soon.
