It turns out that a bunch of audio engineers like to use Diana Krall to test out new earphone designs. Marty Garcia, owner of Future Sonics, told me that.

 facepalm

I mean her recordings, not her personally. There must be a reason.

Although, for the Atrio mg7 the late Les Paul (a friend of Marty's) was so influential that Les originally thought that Marty was designing an earphone just for him...

I mean her recordings, not her personally. There must be a reason. Maybe her voice is just hard to reproduce?

I know what you meant. 80% of the time when I go to the big meets, the first thing on most peoples list is Diana Krall. I think most people just accept her recordings as audiophile and feel she can nicely.

I'd rather listen to Randy Crawford or better yet...Ella Fitzgerald.
