I love Diana Krall, and I love just about every record I've ever heard that T-Bone Burnett produced. Whoever had the idea to put them together should walk the plank

WTF -- who let her raid Christina Aguilera's wardrobe circa 2002?
-
"Stripped" as the album was aptly called, wasn't a bad album by the way...
-
As a general rule, I don't buy albums with pictures of people trying to look sexy on the cover.
-
Well you kind of went against that rule when you bought Rage Against the Machine's eponymous album.
-
And when I bought Michael Jackson's Thriller. And of course my Justin Bieber collection
-
Virgin Killer?

I would respect Diana Krall a lot more if she did porn.
-
She's had a lot of work done in the last few years. Makes sense as she's pushing 50 and contrary to what she and her fans tell themselves, relies on looks to supplement vocal skill that isn't there. Nothing to be ashamed of- Julie London was the same way. Except she could sing.
What I'm interested in is how much the nose job affected her voice - The nose is part of the "mask" when singing and a reason many prominent opera and standard singers have prominent noses. (They don't choose to have them, but are helped out significantly by it.)

LOL!
I'd have to see what she can do first.
I only respect Bella Donna, Vanessa Blue, Sandra Romain and Rita Faltoyano. True skill...true skill. :)p1
All the rest are...meh. :-\

LFF the porn connoiseur hahahaha

-
Nothing more aurally stimulating than Bella Donna moaning through the Paradox.
-
LFF, your post deserves its own thread!

Don't say no one's had quality time with [Redacted] while wearing headphones now...

It turns out that a bunch of audio engineers like to use Diana Krall to test out new earphone designs. Marty Garcia, owner of Future Sonics, told me that.
--annnnnd just noticed my id pic seems to have changed...for the better!

I mean her recordings, not her personally. There must be a reason.
Although, for the Atrio mg7 the late Les Paul (a friend of Marty's) was so influential that Les originally thought that Marty was designing an earphone just for him...

I mean her recordings, not her personally. There must be a reason. Maybe her voice is just hard to reproduce?

I know what you meant. 80% of the time when I go to the big meets, the first thing on most peoples list is Diana Krall. I think most people just accept her recordings as audiophile and feel she can nicely.
I'd rather listen to Randy Crawford or better yet...Ella Fitzgerald.
