Lavry Da11 with speakers

Has anyone heard the Lavry Da11 used in a line up for speakers?  I was thinking of getting the Onkyo Tx-NR515 as a receiver but not so sure how I'd put the Lavry and the receiver together when I'll be using the HDMI most of the time.  But my main question is, how many of you have heard the Da11 in a line up for speakers and how did they sound?  If anything would the Onkyo receiver be good enough?  I was thinking of getting Adam A5X speakers OR Magnepan desk top speakers (sadly I don't know if they sell only the speakers for the desk top but they sell it as a system with a woofer), with a Sunfire Jr 8 inch sub and the Onkyo TX-NR515 receiver.

The DA11 makes for a superb preamp. I don't know whether it's worth it to get a DA11 only for D/A conversion for a receiver which should be capable on its own, but it would work great plugged directly into the Adams. One oddity about the Lavry is that although it comes with an infared sensor, it doesn't come with a remote. Any programmable unit should work though.

I figured I'de use a receiver because I'd hook it up with my tv also.  I was looking at the Marantz SR5007 or Denon AVR2112Ci... ant suggestions?  I was looking at Events studio monitors, such as the 20/20bas or the 2030's..
