Woud a BB gun pistol kill a crow?

A whole flock of crows has decided to make my backyard their home.  There must be 10 of them on our property and there's one that likes to sit right outside my window and squack at 5am.  The rest of the day they are just generally annoying. 

Something must be done.  I do generally feel that they have as much of a right to be here as I do, so I don't want to be too mean.  I don't want to kill them.  But I can't be woken up every morning to squacking at 5am.  It's a health concern at this point.

I have a BB gun pistol here, do you think a BB would kill a crow, or seriously harm it?  I'm guessing it would just sting.  But I don't really know. 

I ordered a "crow be gone" CD from a scammy looking website.   ::)   Supposedly it scares them away with bird of prey sounds...

Any other ideas?

Does crow meat taste good?

Yes....an air pump pellet/bb gun will kill a crow or handicap it.

My advice is to pump the gun at least 4 times and use lead pointed pellets instead of the round bb's. Aim for the neck or head. If you are a nice man, make sure you knife is very sharp as well.  :-\

Haha.  Can I opt for the Wall Street Exec version?  I think that would be scarier.  For me...  :-) 

You really think a BB gun pistol would seriously injur a crow?  What if I got rubber BB's or something?

I think you just need to kill one. Find one that has cancer, or has an injured wing, or some other indicator that it has poor quality of life. That way you're on safe ground ethically, and can justify it as a mercy killing.

Then you hang its corpse in the middle of your backyard as a cautionary tale for the rest of them.

I was going to come in here to suggest that you set up a perimeter using Ultrasone Edition 8s to emit a high frequency force field. But then I thought, that MAY just be more cruel than shooting them with a BB gun.

LOL!  And you get 4 drivers for less than half the cost of the ED8!  We should have some UltrasoneX's sent to Marv for CSD evaluation. 

My neighboor had something like this once, but it was plainly audible.  Could even hear it inside the house.  I snuck over the fence one night, took the unit, boiled it in water for 4 hours, and then snuck back over and plugged it back in.  A day later it was back up and running again.  I have no idea how.  Eventually I seduced her with kindness/Jedi mind tricks and she just turned it off.
