I'm quite versed in forex and getting into Futures (if lucky with a broker) and going through the forums seeing some of them do live trading and doing 3000 -10000 dollars a day, hardcore! Especially without a major injection of capital.

Any of you trade crap (not literally :))?

if it was monopoly money, i think i can make a stretch maybe.

It took me a while to figure out what headphones you were talking about so I guess not.  :p

I have some money and it would be nice to have more.  But that's about the extent of my financial knowledge unfortunately.

It's possible to make money doing the futures thing. But then it becomes like a real full time job where you stare at computer screens and get all stressed out and die.

It can get to that, but then it's why you set some goals and leave when you've reached it.  Otherwise since it's on the computer and it is world wide markets, you CAN literally be doing it all day...

haha, not about headphones at all, I've let these people derailed my thread!

What it is is that you're trading foreign exchange or futures contracts on the computer, need to know about economics and when economic news will come out, need to know how the world connects and what events would affect what parts of the world etc. :P

And oh, need to know how to read graphs.
