HD650, hmmm...

If you would have included the Koss KSC75 and it would have scored higher than most "high roller" headphones in stock form I would give it honorary name the "Kossinator."

Yggdrasil is worthy of 100,000 Chang stars.

Man, this thing Sings.

Thanks all for the guide :)

(edit... I just recommended a friend to buy HD800, now I felt very bad :( )

It's all downhill after $12.26...

I'd say that's a good thing for hifi.

Maybe I'm crazy, but while the KSC-75 isn't the end word in well, anything, it has one of the best sound signatures I've heard. If Koss would just make some supped up KSC-75's, they would be on to some money.

I wonder if LCD-3 getting left off the list has something to do with the driver failure thread at HF?

Right now the LCD 3 retails for about 1300 Euros in the Netherlands. Give or take the continental price variations 1300 Euros is not a little bit of money.

Hand crafted products that are unique on the market cost more. A 1300 Euros headphone that has failing drivers is a problem. For the price of a LCD 3 you can build yourself a very nice audio system, modify a T50RP and not need a LCD 3.

Would you like paying about 1300 Euros for a headphone that might not work? I would not.

I can't find ratings for the holiday dildo gift set. Ratings for that and the oppo pm3, please. (Please state whether opinion is based on when used separately or together)

Yeah something about it just sounds really nice. I know the PortaPro uses a different driver, but I really love them too. Something about their sound is engaging and fun. It reminds me of listening to music growing up. I don't know how to describe it any other way than a very "90s sound" despite it being around before the 90s.
