I'd be interested in coming by if you'll have a complete stranger (and especially if UE will be there with the digital scanner as I'd intended to grab some UERM's next time a discount popped up).  My gear to offer is decidedly mid-fi and redundant (hd650's etc) so not much to offer other than my company and interest.

I am bringing down all the gear from the SF meet. Four Garage 1217 amps, Gungnir, CDP and laptop. Plus a box of tubes.

That sounds fun. Should be able to work that out.

If people brought speakers, I could even measure those so you could have a "virtual" copy of their speakers for listening to on headphones. It's cool to be able to compare multiple speakers just by clicking the mouse. I can also create a 5.1 or 7.1 measurement from two speakers. Then you can hear what your speakers would sound like if you had 8 of them in a 7.1 configuration.

The measurement process is a little time consuming. Not sure how many people would want to do measurements, but we may not be able to get to everyone depending on how many people want to do it.

Or it may be more fun to measure some of those uber speakers they have in their listening rooms.

Yup, I can bring enough to fill a table or 2 if you want.  I usually just decide at the last second what specifically to bring, but likely a few HPs and 2-3 amps. 

Did anybody invite FrankCooter?  I'm not sure how many more shows he's going to as I think he's slowly getting out of the hobby, but it's probably closer than most meets for him.  blubliss and eggil aren't too far from the meet either, but I know there's limited space so just throwing out names in case people drop out.

OJ do you have a thread on your DIY speakers?  Are they using those big woofers Frank sent you?
