no one would want this more than me, a bunch of us where speculating about what would be taken out first and we keep going back to the power supply, Not the dacs.  One r2r dac is as different from the other as delta-sigma dacs are from each other.  you can't just hot-rod one and expect everything to be alright.

on a related note when I listen to the ygg+rag I thought about you for a sec hans030390, I wonder how you'd like the highs.  Now I am wondering what you'd think of the nighthawk.

I hope you imagined my avatar when you thought of me. :)  Better than than a real boy.

I'd love to hear both the Yggy and Rag, together and separate, but I'm worried it might be too risky of a purchase for me based on my tastes. (Someone send to me for testing, please?) I'd probably like the Nighthawk, haha.

No DSD. Out with wife, can't answer questions yet. Will post more later.

Power supply is NOT as beefy. No way they can Support the 4 $100+ cost DAC chips in a SKU this low. Same DSP, lesser DAC chips (still solid), pared down power circuit. Sounds dangerously close to how I remember yggy

Also, Marv commissioned that award a while back. He can't use it anymore so I'm introducing it for him. It's the official award of excellence

Last time I checked, it's still in development. There isn't a release date, and nothing is final.
