i been trying to keep up with this show lately.

The Legend of Korra
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmsT63BgFPw

i never watched the avatar show before, but i might try to, but the legend of korra is surprisingly good(well to me) and i haven't watched a fighting anime/cartoon since the original street fighter(anime series and movies. totally badass stuff and insane fighting styles) and shadow skill(i saw the OVA's. i only know bout that show cause when my cousin that came back from japan showed me whole bunch of stuff that i had no idea existed lol).

anyhoo, yea...only thing i remembered of avatar on how well the choreographing was near very accurate of traditional wing-chun and other forms i remember when i use to do it. only 3 episodes so far out but i don't like waiting. yea i'm a patient person but when it comes to shows, especially if actually grabs my attention(which is rare) i want to know what's next right away. overall i really like it.

also don't know why but if i seriously ever meet a girl like korra, i think i would marry her right away.i want a girl that can be able to kick my ass. i mean can you imagine what other things she be to do too? man....you don't even know..don't even know! awww yea  :P

not anywhere near man. i studied a lot though when i was kid from kempo,tai-kwan do,akido, kendo, white-crane and wing-chun growing up. wing-chun i did longest for about 4 years. during that time and still meet lot of grandmasters, even ones who trained with legendary bruce-lee. couple years ago i had dinner with grandmaster william cheung. totally awesome guy and nothing you would expect from a grandmaster. he still comes by the school though sometimes, but mostly during the summer. very busy guy, always traveling and teaching.

i haven't done any of that stuff for like yeas though. been busy and what i mostly do is observe or help out when ever i'm around the store/school. i want to get into tai-chi still though but class times is only around when i'm not available.

If you READ the thing!  It's about very spicy chicken wings. :)  I'm very good at ultra spicy stuff, I also saw the menu when I was there, the 'very spicy' wings had 3 or 4 chillis on them, whereas the 'death sentence' wings had 15 or so chillis on them, they were like the tabasco spicyness.

I ALWAYS have thai hot stuff and also very spicy korean food too, all amazing.

There are a couple of restaurants in my area that do spicy wing challenges.

One dude I know is super macho about his spicy tolerance. He is pretty legit though -- he eats Dave's Insanity Sauce like its Tobasco, and he always orders spicy Thai food and then proceeds to slather his food with chili peppers.

Anyway, he bet a few of us $50 a piece that he could do the challenge, which was to finish a dozen wings that supposedly contain like 8x more peppers than the spiciest regular menu wings. He only got through about 6 of them before he gave up. Within 20 minutes he was curled over in the fetal position in the back of the car begging us to take him to the Emergency Room with tears down his face. He swore he could feel the sauce burning a hole in the wall of his stomach. We ended up just taking him to Walgreens to get a bottle of Pepto and then collecting our $50.

I tasted a TINY dab of that sauce -- one of the most uncomfortably 30 minutes in my whole life. I refuse to believe that sauce can occur in nature. It had to have made in some sort of Hadron Collider and contained microscopic bits of black hole.

Color me impressed by 39 wings!

At the Thai restaurant that I frequent in Tahoe, when you order something spicy they ask: "white people spicy, or Thai people spicy?"  ;D

These ones? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Savina_pepper

I regularly use orange habeneros in my cooking since it's the hottest I can get in my boon dock town.

Though I'm not a huge fan of things that just emit pure heat. Habeneros are nice for their fruity/citrusy notes
