Not sure if I like stuffing one hole or both holes. Tending toward one hole since both holes seems kinda ghey ~Purrin

Honestly, if the SPL interface actually allows me to unify all my audio stuff for my amateur music creation dabbling, it'd happily shell out cash for it and the LC. You can never have too many amps*.

I honestly really wish I hadn't passed up on the preorder pricing on this amp...

Same. It seems to check a lot of boxes for me on paper.

If you ever pick up the SPL Crimson, let us know how it sounds. I've been curious about it myself.

Will do, though it might be a while, I'm waiting for Yggy and I have to have cash on hand for whenever my BHSE gets built. And then with a LC on the long list of wanted gear...

Did someone give this amp a serious try with a HD800 ?

I Saw you impressions indeed.

where does this amp sit against something like a DNA Stratus or a EC ZDSE for example ?

I should admit the hybrid design and the sole 6DJ8 tube are appealing  .  :wheel:

Hmm...that's tough based on memory. It's easier to compare things that do more things wrong based on long memory. I'd need to compare using the same upstream gear. Donald's amp have more numerous tuning potentials and he uses a Sonic Frontiers transport. Alex was using a Resolution Cantata. Both let them through quite obviously. It will be hard to talk about things like space, tone, etc. without equalizing sources for both. Best I could presume to say is the LC as a hybrid amp has a more immediate and consistent sense of pace and speed whereas maaaybe the Stratus offers a little better tonal contrast?

I hate the ZDSE, so I'll let Marv or someone else answer that. I reeally think it's too romantic for your listening prefs. You seem to listen similarly to me I think.
