Introduction
« on: April 11, 2012, 03:06:36 PM »

Just a note to let everyone know I was invited to join here. As some may know I've made detailed measurements on quite a bit of headphone gear so far and I'm the designer of the O2 headphone amp along with the upcoming ODAC and ODA.

I also have made, but not yet published, quite a few IEM measurements. My Prism Sound dScope audio analyzer can do a lot of acoustic measurements and I have a decent calibrated lab mic, etc. The hard part has been trying to test full size headphones without a HATS (Head and Torso Simulator--i.e. artificial head). I'm not happy with what I've tried so far. For more on the dScope's acoustic measurements, check out:

http://prismsound.com/test_measure/support_subs/apps/acoustic_transducer_testing.php

I've got my hands full at the moment with other projects (like the ODA and some other blog articles) but I wanted to at least say hello and perhaps in the future I can help contribute some objective measurements, etc.

Greetings, glad you are here. I really like your message and am looking forward to the ODA and ODAC. I think you tend to be slightly overzealous but I appreciate the attitude and effort.
