I've seen it getting a lot of praise lately, though not from any sources that I consider reliable.

FWIW, I picked one of these up recently. I think it certainly isn't  poo. I've been impressed by what it can do for what it costs. Better than many portable amps I've tried. The gain switch is a bit ridiculous, though. I can't remember how many dBs are added when you switch to high gain, but it ain't just a few. Definitely want to turn the volume all the way down before adjusting the gain. The signature is sm00th.

It has a bass switch for sure headbang

The gain switch feelslike  +25dB....it's crazy
