Posted this in the shoutbox a few days ago. Can't find actual files, YouTube will have to do.

Let's discuss after we've got enough votes

This was a lot of fun I thought.  Great idea!  My vote was for the Studio 1.

The Studio 1 is nice, but it does have a bit of a noise floor issue in that demo. The Audio Technica was a bit cleaner, but also a little bright and sibilant IMO. So though choice there... all kinda suck a little in the demo. I'll go for the AT.

I generally agree with UB. I found the AT2020 to be barely sibilant compared to the Studio 1, but overall not bad. However, the Studio 1 felt too damped, and I could not hear the pick contacting the strings, compared to the AT2020 where I could. It could have just been the noise floor, but either way, that was the detail that made me vote AT2020.

2020 here too, the noise floor in the others disctracted me too much to even focus on other properties.

I'd still go with the Rode NT1-A (which I bought like 2 years ago and STILL haven't used... it probably doesn't even work! LOL!)

The Audio Technica sounds best to me. Slightly bright but it works well with the acoustic guitar
