Any good? Overpriced? Underpriced?

Gonna use a speaker amp -> adapter box setup for my headphones and I need a temp before I get a nice old Sansui.

Have used it for a year. Good with the HE-500; not that good with the HE-6 or with the HE-4 for that matter. I have not tried it with any other HP.

I thought the mini-X was pretty terrible for headphones. Bass is punchy but it's super grainy, closed in, and has a nowhere-near-black background.

The Trends TA-10.2SE has been recommended a few times around here for the he-6. It's near the price of the a-100 not on sale.
