Nice thread...always looking for new sites. I use HD Tracks and this: http://melodishop.com. I find a decent variety at reasonable prices.

Nowadys, mainly from https://bandcamp.com/ as it is easy to pay, the artist gets the biggest share and I can select the format I want.

You name it, I've probably been there: HDTracks, ProStudioMasters, Qobuz, eClassical, The Classical Shop, CDBaby, Bandcamp, Boomkat, Amazon. I prefer to buy from artist or record label sites whenever possible.

And per my rant of a few minutes ago, I do not and will not use BitTorrent or any other peer-to-peer file sharing mechanism, for computer security reasons.

Everyone's morals and ethics are different, and I'm not trying to preach here, but "free share" sounds like stealing to me. Artists should be compensated for their work, period, full stop.
Well put, if we all start using torrents, we will end up with very little music indeed, and a whole bunch of f'k'd' up , Viagra and [redickted] enlargement pop-up  adds infected, PC's.
