NONE of you have heard this modern marvel of technology. For all you know, it might be the second coming of Jebus.


I for one, feel the HOT is an innovative product worthy of serious consideration. It's got an awesome name and, let's face it, we were all dying to utilize something like this to improve our meager set-ups. At the very worst, you can always use it as an initial butt plug trainer for your new young, hot girlfriend. You know...before she graduates to the bigger sizes.


Anyway, I'm sure this thing is magical and should be a serious product worthy of our time and esteem. If you guys pair this with the Clever Little Clock and Brilliant Pebbles, you might just have a system that will be on the Levi/Awesome Headphone level for MUCH less money.

If I come across one I will happily write an indepth and unbiased review.  This could really work nicely in a rig when trying to get your partner up to handling the Anal Intruder Maximum.

Edit: jokes aside, this product should at least get a chance. Maybe SR did make some kind of break through?  Do they have a decent returns policy?

Maybe they should have completed the year of development, or even a bit more, then they might have had some serious technical information for us.  And until then... I'm ranking it with the company name: a device to seduce audiophiles. Feel the synergy in my post, guys... right?

Real cables companies do real research. I wonder what Belden's R&D budget is? Oh, but I forgot... they make cables that handle MHz and Ghz (and other big-number stuff) but all that is different to that science-defying mystical signal called "music." I'm sure their labs don't get results like those that fill a room with unicorns and write "lab" on the door!

This guy's barn is also being 'tunneled' so his cows will 'moooh' more hifi



How LONG do they have to 'quantum tunnel' their cables and with what current ? (ah.. trade secret most likely)
How long does a 'quantum tunnelled' cable have to be to have an audible effect ?
Would the effect also be there if we just quantum tunnel our PCB's and internal wiring (without components obviously)
Do we get better bits when I quantum tunnel my USB cable ?
Do I need to quantum tunnel the electric wiring in my house ?
Can I quantum tunnel my HD201 and turn it into an HD800 ?

So many questions now we finally know what needs to be done to our cables.

It's all cool bro, you just have to believe that it works, and it will. Just like this stuff. I'm sure SR has done tons of acoustic research just like the guys at GIK, Real Traps, etc proving that their little metal bits and their box with a light on it are just as effective as a room full of bass traps and diffusers. We don't need to see any of that technical stuff though. I mean why would they lie?

Nope, both pictured devices are Tesla coils.
They work as a huge resonating transformer not unlike the high voltage transformers in CRT monitors/TV's.

The primary and secondary coil are clearly shown  ;)

A van der Graaf generator is an all mechanical device which works on static electricity by 2 different surfaces 'rubbing' together (usually powered by a motor).

Two completely different devices, both can generated high voltages and is the only thing they have in common.


I have always wondered which 'snake oil' vendors actually sell their stuff knowing they are conning people and which of them really think they found the holy grail and are onto something.
SG reminds me of Peter W. Belt http://pwbelectronics.co.uk/ who has quite a following crowd with his 'cream', 'drops', an uneven amount of windings with spiralit around your houses water piping and 'rainbow foil'.
I really believe he is 'for real' but don't believe in what he believes.

I think the power of the mind is endless  :D
