I'm curious: When you turn the volume all the way down, do you still hear the music?
Yes I do still hear music especially on my TH900s.  I haven't tried that on my HD700s though.

Yep. I thought so. There are some thing they did that were lead by blind subjective testing (I was told so). One of the, I think, is they intentionally let a little cross-feed (straight, no delay) between channels...I think. Seems a little sketchy to me...but I like the amp.

Interesting comment, Tyll. Are you still using the Taurus/Vega as your reference system?

Yea I agree.  Luckily, it's rather quiet so I don't mind and I've gotten into the habit of unplugging my headphones from the Taurus before turning it on so I'm not worried about it.  I too, like the amp.

Yeah, but I'm thinking about toggling Jason for a little session with the Yggy/Rag to see if it's a better rig.

So some of you have seen my other thread, I'm currently looking for a great all around amp upgrade to my Asgard 2.  I decided to loan the the Taurus MKII from The Cable Co (here's the link in case anyone wants to see what else they have/sell http://www.thecableco.com/Product/category.aspx?cid=401).  So here's my first impressions:

That's an awesome library they have, I like the idea of borrowing stuff as long as you buy a product from them.  Seems very fair and totally helps the customer make an informed decision.

I wonder if this is currently in the library, would certainly love to try it out as my current headphone cable is about 2.5 inches too short:

I figure if you buy like 4 of these and put them in a row, not only will it sound 16 times better but it's like adding another foot to your headphone cable.  You don't even have to upgrade your cable if it's too short, you can just add more of these.

Nah. Knerian, you need just one and Tari's secret sauce that spiced up his HD 800.  :)p13
