Damn, just thinking about those PMCs makes me all limpy-fuzzy inside.

Those things are absolute beasts. Just to get a sense of scale, the small speaker in this picture is PMC's second from the top of their consumer line.

I was talking to a guy at Vintage King Audio the other day and the subject of affordable acoustic treatments came up. He sent me the link for what he uses at home. Looks good, can't wait to try it myself.

lmswjm, thanks for the link man, I was just about to tear my hair out on insulation materials, Just to ask, does dynamat do any actual sound absorption or does it just mass load and deaden material vibration?
