Hipsters are the people in the know of popular culture, especially music and fashion with a penchant for everything Indie. It is generally assumed hipsters have the concentration of fruit fly and just follow every trend because, well a trend.

Hipster is a bit of a strange word as it seems to refer to women only.

I feel like that's the opposite of a music nerd, unless you're going to their live shows on a regular basis and you hate the crowd.  Actually no, that's still a stupid reason to stop liking an artist.

I actually have several playlists sorted by BPM. You know it's bad when you have an entire playlist for 100bpm and another for 110bpm...

31, but I was answering conservatively and the questions don't favor classical listeners. Even so, is that a lot or a little?

I make a list of my favorite pianists in order every year or so. It's useful for revealing slight changes in my listening.
