Audio crash course for my interview.
« on: February 18, 2014, 02:12:05 PM »

Fresh grad here, and I need some help.

This is basically the job description:

And this is what they elaborated on what would be asked in my interview:
Quote (selected)
This 1st round interview will be focus on your past job experience / technical knowledge. Depending on the availability of our Senior Managers, the interviewer panel could be of 1 or 2 persons together with a representative from the HR.

There shall be some technical written tests (on circuit design or programming) on an adhoc basis. Nevertheless, most of the evaluation of your technical skill shall be via verbal.

I'll admit that I am out of my league here; back in my engineering course, there are some things relate, but mostly it's more focused for aviation stuff. And I sent out for this application without much hope. And being taught in Russian, with that being my third worst language, I didn't really paid attention much... So wondering what can be asked in this scenario?

I think that I should start with power amp designs? And which basics? Honestly I can't really recall at all unless someone jogs my memory.

And my interview is on Friday, so I got to be as prepared as I can by Thursday. Sorry for this tall order...

60% positively, if I were pessimistic about it. They said that they would contact me later on for a second interview if I made it. Honestly, pretty well for a first job interview lol. Although I think that I'm being too honest, and not enough selective truth told...

Good interviews come with practice, so even if you don't get the call back you took a good step in getting ready for the next one! They were open to new grads, so of course you never know!  Good luck.
