HUH? How can something be dark and neutral at the same time?

Haha. His reviews are a bit odd.

Here's some quotes from his HD700 review:

Hmmm.  Dark means colored to me, especially when you specifically call it a "coloration"  ;-) 

I can understand something being warm and neutral at the same time, because music has natural warmth.  But even that's a bit pushing it because when I've used it in that sense, it's more in reference to other headphones that lack warmth than being necessarily warm on it's own.

Actually, I might have liked something in-between the LCD2r2 and LCD3 on the Dark Star.  LCD2.5r1.5?


The LCD2r2 sounded pretty decent that dark Stereophile night...
