that sounds very promising... I really want to hear these now. can't find any local dealers unfortunately. if midrange is slightly forward I'm very curious.

does the Pro come with a short cable as well btw? I just looked on their website

It comes with a short and a long cable. The short cable has a very fat screw on connector, so if you use a case on your portable device the plug may or may not fit through the entry.

right. for that I could use a tiny extension or something perhaps... that's not a huge problem I hope.
seems comfort is an issue for a lot of people though and I don't have tiny ears... not sure... is it clamping or is it the pads mostly though.. hmm.
well I'm very intrigued about what I read here. closed cans just haven't done it for me and there's been a smaller explosion of good ones lately it seems.

there doesn't happen to be anyone here who's in Europe (or even Sweden) who has a pair not being used a lot who would want to lend them out? ;) no that's probably not going happen... ugh. decisions! I'm sleep-deprived too.

I was happy with their bass and mids. Upper mids and lower highs lack energy, though. To me, this translated into a lack of resolution and a hint of veil. Applying some moderate EQ helped deal with this.

it's not *too bad* is it though? loooking at measurements it does seem like it might just be a bit 'veil'ed indeed. I should try EQ maybe if I do get a pair then... depends.
uh. again, comparo of upper mids/lower treble to RE-400/RE-600? they're the only phones I have on hand right now. :D
I know they have some dips and whatnot somewhere in those ranges but these seem to have a lot smoother transition there, so might be... better? not quite sure what to think yet. some bite/energy can be nice.

I agree with this but just relax and use them while working or multi-tasking and find them good for that.
