Granted I'm not really a fan of Grado in general, but I wouldn't say the only people who like them are those who don't know any better. I have a friend who is really into the Grado sound, and I'd reckon he knows more about headphones than the average head-fier. His favorite though is the older RS1 which sounds quite different than the newer version.

I haven't heard the GS1000, but the PS1000 + ZDSE wasn't a bad sounding combo. Also "not bad" doesn't necessarily mean "good."

I mostly talk about music there. Weird.

In their video, I kept wondering why the Grado facility was so damn dark. Are they trying to conserve energy use, or do Grados sound better in the dark?

I think they're trying to cure the "brightness" on all their 'phones. Doesn't seem to be working.  :)p3
