Yup, all internal for a cleaner look on top.

I desire all my amps to be wider than deep in form factor, as I like to imagine they have birthing hips.

I don't know what it says about me then that I often turn my amps on their sides...

Do you think there may be an acoustic leak from the jack hole? ~Tyll Hertsens

Not sure if I like stuffing one hole or both holes. Tending toward one hole since both holes seems kinda ghey ~Purrin

The 445 OPTs are close to being done by Dave@Cinemag.

On a side note regarding the new BA transformers by Cinemag: eight interleaves between primary and secondary (old EP PSSS was four); partial silver is gone and now replaced by larger 20 gauge copper - the thicker teflon sleeve is gone from the old 26 gauge partial silver wire.

You mean the slightly “organic” sound of the old BA transformers. :-) Of course we are splitting hairs here, but I know what you mean. Should be a better match with the EML 300B mesh plates you are now offering.

Hi Marv

Finally got to listen to the new outputs. Holy shit what a difference. Impact, bass, highs, the really great thing the slightly dark muddy sound of the old BA is completely gone. The sound is so clear and precise. If the new 445 transformers are this good it will down right scary.

That looks wicked Purrin.  The wait has been a bit painful but it sounds like the Cinemag transformers are going to be awesome.  I am assuming that there is also an external power supply.  Is the 445 going to have the xenon glowies like the levi?

Also, have you heard the Sophia 45s yet?  I was considering trying out the Sophia 2A3s but I will probably just get the EML's.

The PS will be decided another phase. There was already a showdown between the mercury vapor vs. the xenons, where the xenons won. Now the xenons will be going against the 6D22S.
