...the complete lack of self-awareness and dubious proclamations of expertise on the other forum.  I've been pretty successful in tuning out the crazies and sycophants and product-endorsement lemmings and agenda-propagators, but it's just getting worse.  I just spent 30-minutes typing a response on the Amp recommendations for LCD3 thread and ended up deleting it because, well, it was far too balanced and sensible for that forum (and for my intended audience).  These days, I spend the majority of my time over there in its FS section.  Maybe if CS had a FS section I could avoid the other place even more.

Anyway, rant over.

CS has an FS section, it's just not very active in comparison - because people here seem to be more happy with their gear. :P

  • Is tari a wizard

Best way to ignore something is simply stop clicking on loaded threads.  Anytime I run into this headphone drama BS, I end up getting angry for like 10 seconds, realize the whole thing is ridiculous shortly thereafter, and then go do something actually worth my while in real life.  Life's supposed to be stressful, hobbies are supposed to be fun.  When it all gets bogged down in the mire of schoolyard shenanigans its time to compartmentalize or find a new hobby.

I've never met a person who wasn't both incredibly beautiful and fatally flawed.

Here, there, and everywhere I find stupidity and wisdom.

Just a bigger pile of both over at Head-Fi...depends on where you place your focus.
