The following are measurements of an AKG 702 available at the SD Coronado meet. Unfortunately I didn't listen to this particular set (spent more time with the Code-X, Paradox, AD, and some other cans). They were a difficult headphone to drive and had to crank up the gain quite a bit to get 90 dB SPL.

The 2k bump doesn't seem to be so bad in your plots.
And they don't look too treble tipped either.

Yes. It's a little tipped, but doesn't seem too bad at all. The owner of these cans was pretty fond of them. I don't have reliable distortion measurements due to background noise unfortunately to get a better picture.
I also unfortunately didn't listen to this particular set to form an opinion about them. Others with experience with these might chime in.

These really aren't too bad. The CSD's are possibly sub par, but it's nice to not see a huge jump at 2kHz. The more I listen to my Annies, the more that 2kHz bump starts to get to me. Thanks for all the measurements from the meet, ultra! :)p5

The k702s are okay imo... with EQ. Very lean presentation that's lacking bass and mids presence. The soundstage is also unnaturally big.

Does the slight dip on the chart from about 2.5K to 7K make the K702 sound slightly hollow and undefined when listening to Classical music and Piano music?
Just curious because if there is one thing that often caught my attention is that the sound stage (effect) of the K400 and K500 for instance sounds pleasant and 'natural' (to an extent) yet is not the most precise.
If there was one headphone for me that nailed the sound stage (effect) it was the Monitor 10 and that was a closed headphone. (Of course do take into account that the sound stage (effect) is subjective. Headphones and speakers for me cannot replace the feeling and sensation of sitting in the middle of an old Dutch church during an inspired organ concert.)

i find the bass on the 702 fine and has very good punch. just what annoyed me about them is the sound starts to fall apart when you crank them up. you can hear the cloudiness/distortion starting to rise very quickly. i never found the k702's too hard to drive and sounded loud enough out my phone or ipod. speaker amps made little to no difference to me.
the mids bothered me when i first got them too cause coming from sextetts lp and DF's, the midrange sounded really off to me and not nearly as good. still find my sextetts lp and df's overall better headphone to the 702's but do like the 702's good bit. they do sound really smooth/clean.
the big openness though i did find tad weird but actually liked it which made it such a good to near perfect low level listening headphone.
