Well, I haven't found the description of the DIY mod but I don't want to miss out. Consider me for a spot too please, Anaxilus.

One caveat is that those in the Southern hemisphere may have a reversal of sound signature from those in the northern hemisphere, due to coriolis effect.  We are working on a workaround to this so I would hold off on buying for now.

Apply in anti-clockwise direction, tested and true.

Ok, my google-fu seems weak today. Probably something to do with being under the weather at the moment.

Does someone have a quick pointer to the post with a description of the Rabid Dawg mods and how to procure? I found Marv's CSD results.

Is the Mjolnir 2 a good step up from the Valhalla 2 or not enough? I'm getting a Gumby next month (finally) and using the Valhalla 2 for now but next year I'll probably be upgrading there.

I'm not leaving or anything if that's what some people think. I just pretty much found my forte or so to say that I can live with rest of my life finally so to say. I know there is better and still will audition stuff when I can but, for buying stuff, I'm pretty done. After getting my altecs it has pretty much nailed the coffin for trying to achieve ultimate bliss in fidelity.

I love amps lot still and still will probably look into that stuff..but, for purchasing, only way I need an upgrade is for power requirement reasons but I think my current upgrade to my crown xti 4002 providing reasonable output of 2400w@8ohms mono and 3200w@4ohms mono is all I need for now and it works well under stressful and sagging power line conditions. The switch mode power supply design is well done enough to work adequate on sagging power voltages and still maintain full output. I'm also sucker for old school use of t03 outputs( that's why I went with crown again) and it has plentiful of them under the hood so, I'm good for now. It also provides good clean sound and I like the band manager features so, my time of amps has dwindled and have everything I need.

I still will look at stuff here and there and will enjoy it. Just stuff been same for me lately so been bored with it.

I took that test in '98 and goddamn if it wasn't the most difficult and humbling exam I've ever had to endure.  I had aced the underlying course at my prep school (which was taught by a Caltech prof), but I was so frustrated with the actual AP, compared to the half dozen other AP's I had knocked out with relative ease, that I only answered half of it, snapped my pencil in half, threw it off the front wall, handed in my test 90 minutes early and stormed out.  Figured it was the one AP I had bombed.  Instead, when the results came in, I got a 4 out of 5 (3 was passing at the time).  Can't imagine how badly most students must have fared that year if I got a 4.  Whoever wrote that test, particularly the E&M section, deserves a sharp stick in the eye.

Did you go to Polytechnic School?

My situation was (luckily) better. My AP teacher had no idea how to teach Physics C, and had no way of teaching Calculus-based Physics (the only way to teach Physics, if you ask me), so I had to study on my own. I came out of the test thinking I'd be luckily if I got a 3, but ended up with 5s on both sections. (I think that counts as a humblebrag, whoops)

This needs to be a sticky on the new site
I agree with audiofrk, this should be a sticky, where ever it may be found.

I was part of admin there, and boy, did I learn a lot. I feel that there's a similar thing going on here too unfortunately.

Maybe so. There is enough transparency so it is clear what is next. A new website is present and certain things will not happen again.
