I can deal with most headphones at low to moderate volumes.  While it may be realistic conditions of how loud I usually listen, it's also not the best way to get an idea of how the headphone behaves.  My most distinct memory is listening to Homogenic and wanting to end it all.  Switching to something like Chopin waltzes like Anax is alluding to sounded inoffensive by comparison unless I really cranked it up.
