I have a "final" GOV2 and the case isn't much, if any, better than what's in those photos.

I'm glad to inform you that I've successfully completed the mod for the HD650!  They almost sound like a different headphone now... crazy!  I'm really digging the sound out of my pair with this mod; it's better in just about every way.

Thanks again for letting me audition your pair in my system at the meet, as I may have never attempted this modification if I hadn't.  Recommended to anyone wanting to lift the "veil" and open up their pair even more.  Very nice!
