Have we discusssed Mr Robot?
That's my favorite show at the moment. Great writing.
I agree ,definitely one of the better shows this season. I especially like how the story is developing and how each episode ends with a .....redacted.

First episode of Mr. Robot was very strong, great characterization (barring the frequent internal monologues), and it's definitely one of the better USA series in awhile. Hopefully they won't somehow shit the bed in the season closer.
I do not care for the villain. He's too cartoon-ish for my tastes, seeming slightly out of place. But I haven't ever worked in corporate, and he may very well be based off a real person(s).

Deutchland 83. It's like the americans except instead of russian spies, east german spies. First episode was good. Haven't finished the series yet.
I spotted this in ep 1

I re-watched most of the trilogy last week. Evil Dead 1 and 2 hold up for the most part, Army of Darkness only if you REALLY love the humor.

I'm rewatching Luther (on Netflix). Idris Elba is wondrously impassioned and masculine. 5/5 or 9/10
As one character puts it, "You assert a fabulous moral conscience, John. That adheres to unwritten law, yet, time and again, it devastates the people you claim to hold dear--but you don't stop."
In the apt words of the theme,
"Love is like a sin . . . for the ones that feel it the most."
