CAL! 2 isn't fostex/foster based anymore. It lost the magic without those drivers. Just like the newer denons that replaced the d1001s sucked. I loved those d1001s by the way. A less bassy version of the CAL!s using the same exact drivers and almost the same enclosure. I think the pads were the biggest factor for the difference in sound between the Creative and the Denon.

Sennheiser HD439. I have one (very clean condition) and willing to give away this if it gets reviewed.
Edit: Nevermind, realized HD439 is less than 99 bucks.

The KRK is worth a listen; it often gets overlooked. I doubt you'll like it Marv because the treble is kind of crisp. Also, the stock cable bears lots of noise. But let the voters decide.
