Found a pretty decent looking Italian place 'Locanda Positano'. Looks a bit pricey though so I'd like to find some place a little more wallet friendly and family style. If anyone has thoughts or experience in the area feel free to share.

Ruth's Chris is across the street and has a cheap happy hour from 4:30-6:30. Actually I'm not sure if they have that on Sat.
I think there are a bunch of places going west down Washington, on Abbot Kinney, and on Admiralty Way.

PROBLEM: I have three desks (home, lab, my job at non-profit). It's a pain in the ass to move LH GOv2/Magni (or Modi/Vali, etc.) along with interconnect cables, power cables, etc.) to each one of my desks. I also might need to travel to client locations, so would be nice to take along with my laptop. In essence, as my wife says "too many wires".
SOLUTION: Hugo'esque device. Battery powered / USB charged DAC/amp of good sonic quality to power headphones that doesn't cost $2400 and sounds better than Hugo (not lean flat and boring)
OTHER WANTS:
If from LH: Pulsing Firey Demonic Red Glowy stylized "LH" on the chassis.
If from Schiit: Effervescent Plasma Blue Glowy bulb (Loki's Sceptre) on chassis.

Truth: one of the first diy projects I wanna try my hand at, is a transportable tda1541a dac
-4x oversampling
-minimum-soft knee filter built with time optimized algorithms
-femto'ed
-diamond output buffer (using discrete bipolar transitors) or something similar for the current amplification
the voltage needed for a tda1541a is somewhat similar to a wm8741, but my knowledge is is quite basic I'm still learning about I/V stages, haven't found a good source for digital filters, and the rest is still a pipe dream I don't now how to do it, but this idea is a little far out I got other shit to worry about now.

I'd be kinda pissed in a minor way if I were Schiit. Kinda of ruins the surprise, even though some of us may already know... it's always fun to play the game. Several incidents now leaving me wondering why Jason isn't the one making the announcements or doing the unveiling.
P.S. Actually, I am kinda pissed myself. It ruins the surprise it for me, even though I may have known (but wasn't 100% certain.)
