So, there's a mini meet about to happen at Wikia HQ in San Francisco on May 2nd, 2015.

As of now, though, we're over capacity, and Wikia unfortunately can't take more folks in, so this list is it, guys.

Date is to be decided by the majority, so it's flexible. I'm tallying up a head count and gear list in order for our host to figure out what to prepare and all.

I'm in depending on date which is pretty flexible. Not sure what I can bring which isn't on list except the Ember with the new adapter for 6NS7's and another Valhalla 2 with some new Genelex Gold Lions 6922. Of course the HD800. Oh and Gungnir and a pair of good chocolate DT-1350's I bought from Austin. Shiit Fulla if everyone doesn't already have one. :). Let me know.
Edit: Saturdays and Sundays will work in May or late April. Weekdays out until June.

Yeah, I'm basically running it all, with some help from our host, of course.
Host has said... they are okay doing it on any date except the weekend of May 14-17, as they have another event planned, but that's fine with me.
I'd love to get this up and going before I get out of the country in late May, so I'd love to get it off the ground before that. Let's see...
We're essentially looking at either April 25/26 (too close?), May 2/3, or May 9/10 (I think this is just about right), so I'll see about making a poll on there or something.
Marv, we still have plenty of room, and I'd love to check out an EC or two! :)p1

I just realized last one is Mother's Day weekend. Mothers will be sad if their kids are not around, so... sorry about that. I think... the overwhelming response I'm getting is May 2nd, so... I'll make it May 2nd now. :)

Hm already over capacity. I'm not 100% sure I can attend anyways, since I will be moving around that date. Still, it would be nice to have the option tentatively.
Only thing I'd really consider bringing is the Phasure NOS1a DAC, since there are probably a few people that would like to hear it. Should be easy to assess its capabilities with the other gear in attendance. At the other end of the spectrum, I could also bring the Gustard H10 amp since I didn't see one on the list.

I haven't heard other 1704 DACs, but the "sound" these chips are supposed to impart I do not hear in my Phasure. At all.

BILL should we avoid bringing gear if it's already present? I could bring Rag and guigner/wyrd, but I already see a Rag on the list, how is room table wise?
I plan on bringing my super rare Senn HH10, they are no longer in production.

So I'd say... bring anything you're comfortable with bringing. Duplicates are actually encouraged in this case.

That's what I'm thinking, just making sure you got the table space. Then I would bring the Rag, gungnir, wyrd and my Jan Meier amp, HE-6, BP-560, HD-800, HD-600.

Well, our host said 30 bodies, with gears. And they're still renovating the space, so... who knows? If there will be limited space, I'll let you know.
For now, it's looking like this meet will have quite a bit of space for people to bring gears. :)
I'll also personally go visit them in a few weeks, take photos of the space, and then post them up. I'll also prepare tables, assign space, and so on... etc... It's one of the rare meets that I'll get to organize by myself so... rest assured. It won't be sloppy.

Project Ember- w/supercharger module and adaptor for 6SN7 type tubes.
Project Ember-with a few tweaks and mods.
And possibly a prototype amp. Assuming it gets here on time.
And the usual suspects. Gungnir, Valhalla 2 , HD800, HD650. etc. all on the list already.
I can bring my Wadia 581 SACD player/DAC (only the DAC works) if anyone has interest in an R2R DAC with 3 filters to select from. And a CD player this time since my converter sucks, as such, it didn't sound its best at zero's meet. Do you still have the Ciunas converter? I seem to recall you sold it. If someone has one I could use at the meet it would be appreciated.
Should be a good time.

Now that I have Geek Out 450 to use for Code-X, LCD-2, Abyss... I kinda regret selling you that TransDAC, Ravi. LOL
Gotta get on cloning it in the summer. Maybe swap the PCM1702 for PCM63, and then inject a bit of analog sorcery that I used to make my amp in it. This way, I can have my own sound signature while using the Cavalli Liquid Carbon. :)p1

I looked at the googlemaps, there is a pay parking lot across the street on 3rd St at the corner of Harrison.
There's also a good amount of metered parking spaces on 3rd St and Harrison.
If you get there between 8-9am there should be street parking as it is Saturday.
To avoid going out to feed the meter every hour or two I suggest those parking cars to download the paybyphone app and you can use credit card and your phone to pay, it doesn't auto-pay for you but you'll get an SMS 5 minutes before your meter runs out and you can just pay through the app. There's also a website to pay through and an 800 number. Every meter has a number ID on it to pay using the Paybyphone service. As some of you are not city natives, you should know that San Francisco parking sucks.

Really, really, really nice seeing all of you guys! Bill rocks. Crew who came all the way up- you rock. I wish I had more time to talk to peeps but there were all of these headphones everywhere. It’s always a struggle to balance hanging out vs. listening. Oh, and the ECZD sounds nice with the TH900, which I think was said around here before.
